Rain Drops on Roses

I can be a bit flower NUTS. I love them and now living in a condo I really miss them. Always before in every home I've had a rose garden, totally crazy I know. 
I've asked our association here to add 3 rose bushes at the front of our condo,(my expense) but....
that's how they work, decisions, decisions. 

Had to do it again, would had NEVER asked !

Just happened upon this gate about a week ago walking a long an old park. I always ask before taking pictures....but I couldn't fine anyone. I think it's public domain then??

Week 2 - A Part of Me

I design and sell quilt patterns. I'll celebrate my 15th year soon. Quilts are a huge part of me.  They seem to have a life of their own with me. This quilt is Grand #4's Big Boy Quilt.

Week 1, My - Before and After

After the past weeks of rain here in Florida it was so nice to be outside yesterday. Husband has a little fishing boat and when he asks I always go.  I don't fish, I read, take pictures and sometimes even quilt. I have a huge bag I take with me and as he says, "you never know what she'll pull out"
We fish the same spots and it was so fun to see all the changes in nature over the past two weeks.

The gentleman who started us on our camera journey has went with us on the boat and always says, "No birds on sticks"

But I love this one.  I think she was yelling at the young ones trying to fly.

Learning and Playing with Black and White

Early this Spring I took a Photoshop Elements class and learned so much I can't seem to remember it all. HERE's my teacher's site Spencer Pullen, great class and I learned a lot about myself, plus Elements. I hadn't taken a class in YEARS and going over everything at home each week was so much fun for me. I think I was alone in that. Most of the class liked to show up and learn a bit and not put it into practice???  NOT me. I loved it and hope to take more classes soon. But, I've forgotten some.

So, I've been going through the handbook again and playing with Black and White.  I didn't understand black and white, but learned black and white is BLACK and WHITE not gray. 
This will be a learning curve for me ! 

I'M HAVING A BALL ! 

A Test Post

52 Week Project doesn't start until AUGUST 1st, but I'm an over achiever....

and I'm ready to GO !   My OVER prepared first and NOT part of the weekly challenge, but why start NOW doing anything the way it should be done ? I ask you, "Why?"
